Obstacles are all around us. They want to knock us flat on our backs and keep us from being our best selves. But inside all of us is a light that when ignited propels us through seemingly insurmountable obstacles. At No Barriers, we’re about fueling that fire — unleashing the potential of the human spirit. The tool we have to accomplish that is the No Barriers Pledge and we want 1 million people to take it in the next five years. Let’s do this.
Our mission is to unleash the potential of the human spirit. Through transformative experiences, tools and inspiration, we help people embark on a quest to contribute their absolute best to the world. In the process, we foster a community of curious, brave and collaborative explorers who are determined to live the No Barriers Life.
My family and I have made the pledge to better communicate through American Sign Language. This pledge started with teaching my husband basic conversational sign. My parents are taking official courses and my mother is thinking about Interpreting. I am blessed to be an Ambassador for No Barriers and to be able to encourage others.

The Invisible Disabilities Association (IDA) encourages, educates and connects people and organizations touched by illness, pain and disability around the globe.
I heard about this organization because I had been selected to received IDA’s 2015 “But You Look Good” Award. After meeting with Founder and President of the organization Wayne Connell and his wife Sherri I have gained a love for their message and mission. I am proud to be on their team to spread awareness of Invisible disabilities. For we all know we all deal with many trails in this life. Most are not seen.
The Higher Purpose Project is a global initiative that brings together individuals of all ages and cultures committed to elevating their level of impact in the world. We are an experiential platform, focused on creating unique environments in the outdoors that connect and expand leaders from different fields.
I find myself blessed that I was invited to speak and sing at a HPP Summit near Winter Park, CO in 2014. When I arrived I found a group of individuals working together to encourage and to push each other to use their gifts and skills to creating a better world. They push me outside my comfort zone and I will be forever grateful.
